Our first loan!

One of the decisions we made when we started Dancing Fools Press was that it is very important to us that we help others with a portion of the profits generated by DFP. Because we were unable to find a national or international organization that focused on women's literacy, we've chosen instead to commit to lending 1% of our profits through Kiva to women running their own businesses.

We're happy to announce that we've made our first loan. :)

Once this microloan has been repaid and/or we've reached the threshold to start another loan, the money will be lent to another businesswoman, furthering the goals of Kiva and the women they empower.
